"I saw the very moment he understood. He was not alone." This is what I thought as I talked with this veteran. I saw in his eyes that the desperation and solitude he had been feeling for the past several years, was finally over. After talking with him another few hours, I then drove home. As I was driving, I thought to myself, "The country only lost 21 veterans and first responders today instead of the usual 22."
Vires In Fraternitate
Vires In Fraternitate states, in Latin, that there is "Strength In Brotherhood" It is this very principle, that we all learned while serving, that holds the key to saving our struggling Brothers and Sisters today.
